In a recent press release, Acer has unveiled its new Nitro series gaming laptop, equipped with the latest Ryzen 8000 series processor.
The Acer Nitro 14 features a 14.5″ IPS display offering a WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600) with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 100 percent sRGB color coverage.
Under the hood, the laptop is equipped with up to AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors, with the top-end model featuring a Ryzen 7 8845HS processor that has a boost clock speed of 5.1 GHz. As for graphics, it features an NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory.
Cooling technology in the Nitro 14 includes a dual-fan system and liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU, designed to maintain performance under load by efficiently dissipating heat.
For connectivity, the Nitro 14 offers USB-C and USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader, alongside multimedia features like stereo speakers, a trio of microphones, and customizable RGB keyboard lighting. Additionally, each Nitro 14 comes with a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offering access to a wide range of PC games.
Pricing & availability
The Nitro 14 (AN14-41) is expected to hit store shelves in June 2024 with a recommended retail price of 1,399 euros.
