The Nothing Phone (2a) was launched in March 2024 and has received multiple updates since then, improving its performance and user experience. The company has now started rolling out the Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for the Phone (2a), improving the camera system, while fixing some bugs and more.
The Nothing OS 2.5.5 update is 91MB in size and brings the April 2024 security patch. You can check out the complete changelog below.

● Improved camera color saturation.
● Optimised blur accuracy in Portrait Mode, as well as overall clarity.
● Enhanced camera loading speed.
General improvements
● Updated to April Security Patch.
● Optimised the Google Assistant wake-up experience.
● Optimised pop-up view animations to feel more fluid.
● Increased overall smoothness.
● Optimised overall gaming experience and performance.
Bug fixes
● Resolved compatibility issues with some third-party launchers.
● Fixed stability issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections.
● Fixed an issue where the Night Light feature was ineffective on the lock screen.
● Optimised the overall stability of the system.
In related news, Nothing is also working on an improved version of the Nothing Phone (2a) with the codename “PacManPro” and model number A142P. While details about what improvements this device will have over the Nothing Phone (2a) are still unknown, this new device is expected to be called either Nothing Phone (2a)+ or Nothing Phone (2a) Pro.
