Minisforum has rolled out its latest product, the V3, a hybrid device that functions as both a tablet and a laptop, now available worldwide. This new addition is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U SoC and comes with Windows 11 Pro installed.

The V3, built from a sturdy yet lightweight die-cast magnesium alloy, features a 14-inch detachable multi-touch display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen has 500 nits of claimed peak brightness.

Weighing 946g without its keyboard, the V3 also boasts quad speakers and stylus support. Under the hood, the device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, Radeon 780M graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, all kept cool with an efficient dual-fan and four copper tubes cooling system.

The V3 offers ample connectivity options, including two USB4 ports, a USB Type-C port supporting DisplayPort-In/VLink, and an SD card slot. It also features a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a gyroscope, and a fingerprint reader.

Currently, Minisforum is promoting the V3 at an early bird price of £1,159 in the UK, $1,199 in the US, and €1,359 in the Eurozone. This promotion, valid until May 28, includes additional accessories like a keyboard, stylus, screen protector, and laptop sleeve.
