Logitech has released their new M196 wireless Bluetooth mouse, available in a choice of black, white, and pink. The budget-friendly mouse starts at just 79 yuan (approximately $11 USD) and offers fast pairing Bluetooth connectivity.
The mouse has an ambidextrous design, and weighs only 61 grams
The M196 eliminates the need for a receiver or占用 (zhàn yong) computer port, connecting directly via Bluetooth. Weighing in at a mere 61-79 grams, the M196 is designed for portability and easily slips into a backpack or bag. For added comfort, the mouse features an ambidextrous design that accommodates both right-handed and left-handed users.
Functionality is kept basic yet effective. The M196 offers controllable line-by-line scrolling and optical tracking for smooth and accurate cursor control on a variety of surfaces. Logitech boasts a lengthy battery life of up to 12 months on a single AA battery (pre-installed) thanks to the mouse’s automatic sleep function.
Even the M196’s construction reflects a commitment to sustainability. The mouse shell is comprised of environmentally friendly plastic, with the black version containing 67% certified recycled materials and the white and pink versions containing 66% recycled materials.
