After recently launching the Honor 200 Lite 5G smartphone in France, the brand has now debuted a new tablet in its home market of China called the Honor Pad 9 Pro. This launch comes about two months after the brand unveiled the Honor Pad 9 at MWC 2024.

Honor Pad 9 Pro

The Honor 9 Pro tablet features a 12.1-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 144Hz refresh rate. The display also offers 1.07 billion colors, covering the entire DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, with options of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet operates on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and features a 10050mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging. The tablet has 4 speakers and 4 tweeters for audio.

For optics, the tablet has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The tablet has a thickness of 6.64mm and a weight of about 589 grams. As for connectivity, the tablet offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G capabilities, and a Type-C port.

Pricing & availability

The tablet is available in two colors: Starry Gray and Sky Blue. The pricing is set at 2199 Yuan ($303) for the 8GB/256GB version and 2499 Yuan ($345) for the 12GB/256GB version.
