Xiaomi continues to roll out HyperOS updates to more devices. In our previous article, we shared with you the arrival of HyperOS on Xiaomi 11T Pro, and now Xiaomi is rolling out the HyperOS update to POCO F4 with the OS 1.0.1.0.ULMMIXM update. More phones will be getting Xiaomi’s HyperOS update is great news since their recent software updates have made things run really well.

Xiaomi’s recent changes offer a smooth experience. MIUI has always been among the Android interfaces with abundant customization options. HyperOS enhances this further by adding various customization options such as improved homescreen and widget animations, and various lockscreen styles.

HyperOS for POCO F4 has been released (POCO Tester Release)

POCO F4 was already running on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, which is the latest MIUI version before the introduction of HyperOS. With the OS 1.0.1.0.ULMMIXM update, POCO F4 will now have HyperOS based on Android 14. If you don’t see the update on your phone yet, please allow some time for it to be released in more regions. Also, please note that only users registered on Mi Pilot will receive this update. Public releases will be available at a later time.

The new HyperOS update for the POCO F4 is approximately 5GB in size and comes with the April 2024 security patch. The new HyperOS update was initially made available on global devices, which can be identified by the “MI” abbreviation in the update’s version number.

POCO F4 was introduced two years ago in June, and we can say that the phone still holds up very well in 2024. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is still powerful enough for many tasks however it’s worth noting that the device debuted with Android 12, and the Android 14 update marks the final Android upgrade for the POCO F4.
