There have been reports that iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Pad 2 series of tablets in China. The 3C authority in China recently approved the Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro, bearing respective model numbers iPA2453 and iPA2475. Today, the brand released an official confirmation that the Pad 2 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.

Today, MediaTek unveiled the 3.4GHz Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset in China. It is an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9300 that powers the likes of the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and Vivo Pad 3 Pro. Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO confirmed today that the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro, and iQOO Neo 9S Pro will feature the all-new Dimensity 9300+ SoC.

The iQOO Pad 2 Pro will be the world’s first tablet to feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. The Neo 9S Pro is scheduled to launch this month (May) in China. It remains to be seen whether the Pad 2 Pro also launches alongside the Neo 9S Pro.

iQOO Pad 2 Pro specifications (rumored)

Reliable leaker Digital Chat Station revealed on Weibo that the iQOO Pad 2 Pro will have a 13-inch LCD panel with 3.1K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The inclusion of a Monster+ performance mode will allow the tablet to squeeze out top-notch gaming performance. The tablet is rumored to have an 11,500mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The USB-C port of the tablet will come with support for the USB 3.2 standard.

It seems that the iQOO Pad 2 Pro shares the same specs as the Vivo Pad 3 Pro, announced last month in China, except for the new chip. Hence, the Pad 2 Pro is likely to feature an 8-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel rear camera, eight speakers, and Android 14 OS with a layer of OriginOS 4.0 on top.
