The iQOO Z9x 5G is set to be announced in India on May 17. Amazon has put up a microsite of the upcoming offering confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform. Additionally, the listing also reveals some new specifications of the smartphone. Previously, it was confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

iQOO Z9x key specs confirmed

As per the microsite, the iQOO Z9x 5G is touted to be the slimmest phone in India with a massive 6,000mAh battery unit. It is claimed to offer 2 days of usage on a single charge. The device will support 44W fast charging and a 30-minute charge is said to offer 10 hours of usage. The upcoming offering is confirmed to pack 8GB RAM along with 8GB virtual RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable up to 1TB. 

In terms of display, the iQOO Z9x 5G has a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout with a screen measuring 6.72 inches. It features a seven-level 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. On the audio front, the device is equipped with dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res certification. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

The iQOO Z9x 5G is confirmed to be IP64-certified dust and water-resistant. It is teased to be the first in the segment, although the exact price segment remains a mystery. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The iQOO Z9x 5G has a squarish camera module on the rear housing a 50MP main sensor and a secondary lens. 

Lastly, software-wise, the iQOO Z9x 5G is confirmed to ship with pre-installed Android 14 OS. It will be eligible for two OS updates and three years of security patches.
