The update fixes an issue where the secure keyboard wouldn’t show up automatically on the lock screen. It also makes some third-party music players more reliable, preventing them from becoming unresponsive.

Connectivity features have been improved as well, with more stable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. The camera has also been tweaked to stop flickering in some apps and to work more smoothly overall. The update also includes improvements like better system stability and the latest Android security patch for May 2024.

The update is being sent out in phases in the IN region. It’s starting with a small group of users and will reach more people in the next few days. Users in India can report any problems with the update by using the Google Dialer and typing *#800#.
