Samsung had the Galaxy F55 5G launch event scheduled for tomorrow (May 17), however, the brand has now postponed this launch event to the last week of the month.

The Galaxy F55 5G launch is now set to take place on May 27. Currently, there is no information on why the launch has been postponed. That said, the launch event is pretty much to unveil the exact price of the smartphone as the majority of other details have already been revealed.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is expected to have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It will likely run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The phone could come in two storage options, offering 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The camera setup might include a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, a 50MP front-facing camera is expected. The Galaxy F55 5G is anticipated to have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It will probably run on Android 14-based One UI 6.0.
A recent price leak has revealed that the 8GB + 128GB model of the smartphone will cost Rs 24,999 with bank offers.
