Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Buds 6 Active earbuds in the Chinese market. The earbuds went on pre-sale last week and now they are officially up for sale, priced at 99 yuan ($14). Let’s check out the specifications of these earbuds.

The Buds 6 Active comes equipped with a 14.2mm dynamic driver unit, promising deep bass and a stunning listening experience. The earbuds offer five built-in sound tuning modes to cater to various listening preferences. These modes include Bass Boost, High Treble Boost, Vocal Boost, Volume Boost, and a default mode.
The Redmi Buds 6 Active boasts a battery life of up to 30 hours when used with the charging case. On a single charge, the earphones can last up to 6 hours. Additionally, the product supports a quick charge feature where a 10-minute charge provides up to 1 hour of music playback.
For call clarity, the earphones are equipped with dual-microphone wind noise reduction technology, which effectively reduces environmental noise and achieves up to 4m/s wind noise reduction during calls. This makes the earphones suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The product also supports one-touch wake-up for voice assistants, enhancing convenience for users.
In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Buds 6 Active supports Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a faster and more stable connection with an ultra-low latency of 90ms. The earphones also hold the NetEase Cloud Music hardware certification, offering a professional sound effect adaptation when used with the NetEase Cloud Music app.
The product is compatible with the Xiaomi Earphones App, which allows users to check the battery status, modify gesture functions, and personalize settings for a tailored audio experience. These earbuds are available in three colors: Black, White, and Blue.
