Black Canyon’s two new mechanical keyboards are hitting the Q series lineup: the Q3 “Taorongrong” and Q3Pro “Wulili”, both available for pre-order now. The Q3 takes the spotlight with a pre-sale price of 199 yuan (around $29 USD), dropping to 169 yuan (around $25 USD) upon launch. The Q3Pro’s pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
The Q3 has customized “Momo” switches, the Q3Pro has Kailh BOX Red Switches
While both keyboards share many features, some key differences set them apart. The Q3 utilizes Kaihua’s customized “Momo” switches, while the Q3Pro opts for Kailh BOX red switches. The Q3Pro also boasts dual light strips on the sides for an extra touch of personalization. Both keyboards pack a punch in terms of durability, featuring Kaihua switches rated for 50 million keystrokes. They also offer the flexibility of tri-mode connectivity – switch between Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, or the wired Type-C connection for a seamless user experience.
For those who value a quiet typing experience, the gasket mount design on both keyboards dampens noise and vibration. The Q3 caters to individual preferences with 16.8 million colors of customizable RGB lighting and various preset effects.
