Decathlon has released yet another electric bicycle to expand its portfolio of versatile models. The Decathlon BTWIN E-Fold 900 is an electric folding bike that can be folded and unfolded within one second. The compact BTWIN E-Fold comes with a brushless rear hub motor and up to 55 km of assistance range. It is a 7-speed e-bike with a Shimano Tourney drivetrain and Teckrro T275 hydraulic disc brakes.

The Decathlon BTWIN E-Fold is equipped with a brushless 250W electric motor at the rear wheel. It has a maximum torque of 35Nm and a top speed of 25km/h. There are three-speed modes to choose from, as well as a walking setting on the BTWIN E-Fold. The walking mode allows the bike to ride at 4km/h. It is equipped with a 252Wh battery which delivers the stated assistance range of 55km. The battery is capable of retaining its maximum capacity in up to 500 cycles.

The Decathlon BTWIN E-Fold 900 was announced last month and it has now berthed in the EU and UK. One of the highlights of the model was its impressive fast folding capability, as it was claimed that it could be folded in just a second. This makes the transportation and storage of the BTWIN E-Fold 900 to be easier. The model comes with a patented hinge locking system that makes the folding to be smooth. The Decathlon BTWIN E-Fold features 20-inch wheels fitted with Schwalbe Big Apple tires.
