According to display analyst Ross Young, Samsung is planning to launch a foldable phone named the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. He revealed that the Fold 6 Slim’s screen size will be larger than the regular Fold 6. The leak suggests that the device may lack S Pen support and will be priced similarly to the Fold 6..

Young further stated that the panel shipments will start in the fourth quarter of this year. It is probable that the device, along with the Galaxy S25 series, will go official in the first quarter of 2025.

Popular leaker Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will have an 8-inch inner foldable screen and a 6.5-inch cover display.  The aspect ratios of the Slim model’s displays are said to be different from those of the Z Fold 6. It is likely that the Slim variant may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Unfortunately, the other details of the Slim variant are under wraps.

A recent report claimed Samsung is also working on an affordable offering called the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE. This device is likely to break cover in the coming year.
