Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme, recently announced that the company plans to launch the GT 7 Pro in India later this year. The device aims to unify its market approach, offering the same model in China and globally.

Now, tipster Digital Chat Station reports that the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, making it the first smartphone with this processor available globally.

The new processor is rumored to deliver a significant performance boost, with Qualcomm targeting a peak clock speed of up to 4.26GHz. Reports indicate that Qualcomm will unveil the SD8G4 chip in October, suggesting the GT 7 Pro may debut in India in the last quarter of this year.
In the meantime, the brand is also preparing to launch the Realme GT 6 in the global market. The phone is expected to launch sometime in July, with specifications similar to those of the China-exclusive Realme GT Neo 6. This means that we can expect the device to have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with multiple AI-driven features onboard. It will likely offer an OLED display with 1.5k resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to pack LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 50MP primary camera.
