Chiense projector manufacturer BenQ has unveiled the TK710 and TK710STi laser projectors have been unveiled. The new models are described as casual gaming projectors and offer multiple HDR game modes, a 4ms input lag, and dual HDMI ports.

BenQ TK710

The BenQ TK710 and the TK710STi both come with a laser light source that can deliver up to 3,200 lumens brightness and has a life cycle of up to 20,000 hours. The new DLP projectors can throw images up to 150 inches (380 cm) wide with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The models are claimed to have a native 4K UHD resolution, though the 3,840 x 2,160 pixels measurement and their low price point suggest that these are possibly pixel-shifting models. They have a 600,000:1 contrast ratio and come with a Lightsource Dimming tool, as well as 95% Rec.709 color gamut coverage.
