LG has launched a new OLED monitor in Europe called the LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UX-B. What makes this monitor unique is its Dual-Mode OLED panel which can operate on two different resolutions with two different refresh rates.

The UltraGear OLED 32GS95UX-B has a 31.5-inch display with a native 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with 240 Hz. The monitor is capable of switching to a resolution of 1080p with a snappy refresh rate of 480 Hz with 0.03 ms GtG refresh rate.

The monitor also offers 98.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 275 nits of brightness that goes up to 400 nits while viewing HDR content. Design-wise, the monitor has super thin bezels surrounding the display. The stand takes up very little space and offers height adjustability as well as tilt, turn, and pivot. The stand also has a cutout through which users can route their cables for clean cable management.

For connectivity, the monitor has a DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 (48 Gbps) ports, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a single USB Type-B port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Additional features include Vesa AdaptiveSync, Nvidia G-SYNC, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

LG has launched the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UX-B in several European markets, including Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, with a price tag of approximately €1,399.

In related news, ASUS has also unveiled the ROG Strix XG27UCG, which also offers dual-mode technology. That said, the Strix XG27UCG uses a 4K LCD panel that has a 160 Hz refresh rate, which can be switched to a 1080p display at 320 Hz.
