Garmin has released the Forerunner 165 smartwatch in India to coincide with Global Running Day. This new GPS smartwatch is tailored for professional runners and sports enthusiasts. It features a clear 1.2-inch AMOLED screen, a lightweight frame, and is available in a range of colors.

The Forerunner 165 allows users to download music directly from Spotify or Amazon Music, enabling them to listen without a phone by connecting wireless headphones. This feature is particularly useful for runners who prefer to train without carrying extra gadgets.
The smartwatch includes built-in GPS for precise tracking of distance and pace, and a heart rate monitor on the wrist. It offers adaptive training plans that adjust to users’ fitness levels and goals, which can be managed and customized through the Garmin Connect app.



For health tracking, the device measures blood oxygen levels, monitors sleep, and tracks other health indicators. It supports more than 25 activity profiles, making it useful for a variety of sports including running, swimming, and tennis.
The Forerunner 165 also provides a daily Morning Report, which gives users an overview of their sleep quality, upcoming training, heart rate variability, and the day’s weather.
With a battery life of up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and 19 hours with GPS use, the watch is designed to last through extended training sessions without frequent recharges.

The Forerunner 165 Series is priced at Rs. 33,490 and comes with a two-year warranty. Available in colors such as Turquoise/Aqua, Black/Slate Grey, Mist Grey/Whitestone, and Berry/Lilac, it can be found at select premium brand stores.
