ASUS has just unveiled its latest innovations in professional displays. The company took the stage at Computex 2024 to showcase cutting edge monitors that include the ProArt Display, ZenScreen monitors, and even the VU display series. These aim to meet all your needs ranging from professional content creation, hybrid work, entertainment, and more. The latest announcement also arrives after ASUS launched the ExpertBook P5 AI-powered laptops at the same event.

1. ASUS ProArt Display

ASUS Computex 2024

Talking about the highlight of the Computex announcement first, the new ProArt Display arrives with some world’s first technology. The company unveiled the ProArt in two models, which offer 8K and 5K resolutions. ASUS claims that the PA32KCX is the world’s first 8K mini-LED professional monitor. It sports a tall 32-inch panel that offers 97% of the cinema-grade DCI-P3 gamut, with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

On the other hand, the PA27JCV is a 27-inch monitor with 5K resolution that comes with 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB wide color gamut. Both models also feature LuxPixel technology that includes AGLR (Anti-Glare and Low Reflection). These professional grade monitors are powered via a USB-C port for 96W power delivery.

The ProArt Display 5K model hasASUS LightSync solutions such as Ambient Light Sensor and Backlight Sensor. Meanwhile, the ASUS ProArt Display 8K comes with a built-in motorized flip colorimeter for auto and self-calibration. There is also a true 10-bit depth along with HDR10 and HLG support.

2. ZenScreen Monitors

While the ProArt series is built for creative professionals, the ZenScreen monitors are built to improve your entertainment and productivity. The most impressive of the lot is undoubtedly the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, which sports a 14-inch 16:10 aspect ratio with dual OLED displays. It has a FHD resolution and 360 degree foldable hinge. This model weighs just 700 grams and has also been made for on-the-go productivity.

The second model is the ZenScreen Smart MS27UC, which is a 27-inch IPS LCD monitor with UHD resolution. This is the brand’s first Google TV smart monitor that can work standalone and doesn’t require a PC connection. It supports wireless display functionality along with built-in 5W Harman Kardon speakers. Other notable features include 90W power delivery from a USB-C port, USB hub ports, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Google Play Store support.

3. ASUS VU

Last but not the least, we have the ASUS VU lineup that includes three models, namely VU249HFI-W, ASUS VU279HFI-W, and ASUS VU34WCIP-W. These monitors are built using sustainability with nano-ion and eco-friendly technologies. The displays on these come with eye-strain reduction with 100Hz refresh rate and an IPS panel for wide viewing angles.

ASUS also uses 100 percent recyclable paper packaging that is Energy Star 8.9 compliant as well. The company is targeting to adopt 85 percent PCR-Plastic, PCB Halogen free, EPEAT Gold, and TCO 9 status. This lineup has various sizes ranging from a 24-inch display to a 34-inch ultra-wide panel. ASUS’ VU34WCIP-W is an ultra wide model with a WQHD resolution and a curved screen for a truly immersive experience.
