JBL has launched a new pair of true wireless (TWS) earbuds called the LIVE FLEX 3 on JD.com in China, with a starting price of 1,399 yuan ($212). The key feature of the LIVE FLEX 3 is its charging case, which boasts a built-in touchscreen.
Users can also choose personalized wallpapers for the tiny touchscreen
This touchscreen allows you to control various functions without having to take out your phone, including:
- Playing and switching songs
- Setting ambient sound modes
- Adjusting sound effects
- Switching wallpapers
- Locating your earbuds
The case also supports personalized wallpapers, letting you customize the look of the charging case.
As for the earbuds themselves, they feature 12mm dynamic drivers for sound, and support for “four-microphone full-scene adaptive noise reduction” to help block out unwanted ambient noise. The earbuds are also water resistant with an IP55 rating, meaning they can withstand dust and light water splashes.
Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures a stable connection to your device, while the earbuds themselves offer a battery life of up to 10 hours. The charging case can provide an additional 40 hours of playback, bringing the total battery life to 50 hours. The case also supports fast charging, offering 4 hours of playback time with just a 10-minute charge.
The JBL LIVE FLEX 3 is currently in its pre-sale stage on JD.com. A 50 yuan deposit is required to secure your order, with the final price being 1,399 yuan after a 200 yuan discount. The official sale starts on June 17.
