Xiaomi has unveiled an upgraded version of the MIJIA Smart DC Inverter Floor Fan 1X with a few new features from its predecessor. The new Xiaomi MIJIA floor fan uses seven customized large-area wing-shaped fan blades for delivering high-quality airflow in restoring natural wind in the room.

Xiaomi says the floor fan can be used in combination with an air conditioner during summer to speed up air circulation. It allows the cold air to be evenly distributed.
The fan uses a Type-C universal interface and can be powered via a standard 18W adapter or through a power bank. The gadget uses algorithms to stimulate variable frequency natural wind in eight different scenarios. It offers a unique and comfortable natural wind output in the home setting. Additionally, the fan uses a DC variable frequency motor that provides a smoother air supply. It has a power rating as low as 1.6W and results in minimal electricity consumption.
The Xiaomi MIJIA DC Inverter Floor Fan 1X can be connected to the Mi Home App for remotely controlling the device. The app also offers timed switches and Xiao Ai voice control is supported. You can also customize the wind speed and operational cycle of the floor fan via the app. It supports 100 wind speed adjustments in direct wind mode.
Customers can purchase the Xiaomi MIJIA DC Inverter Floor Fan 1X from retail platforms in China such as JD.com for 249 yuan ($34). There are no indications yet on the availability of the DC fan outside China.
