Minisforum has launched the UM880 Pro mini PC in the Chinese markert. The pricing starts at 2498 yuan ($344). This mini PC packs a punch in a tiny form factor, making it ideal for space-constrained environments that still require strong performance. Let’s check out its key specs.

The UM880 Pro features the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, built on the 4nm process with Zen 4 architecture. This translates to an 8-core, 16-thread configuration with a base clock of 3.8GHz and a max boost clock of 5.1GHz. The mini PC supports up to 64GB of DDR5 5600 dual-channel memory and dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 solid-state drives.
Minisforum claims significant performance improvements over the previous generation. The AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor offers a 20% performance increase compared to the R7 6800H, while the integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics card based on the RDNA 3 architecture delivers a 20% boost over the Radeon 680M.

Minisforum has equipped the UM880 Pro with their Cold Wave 2.2 cooling architecture. This upgraded system ensures stable performance even under heavy loads, while keeping noise levels low. In performance mode, the cooling system can handle up to 70W.
In terms of connectivity, the UM880 Pro offers a versatile selection of ports. The front and back panels feature a 2A1C layout of USB ports, all supporting PD charging (65-100W). It also supports dual HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports that allows connecting up to four displays simultaneously.
