The Robot Vacuum S20 is capable of delivering up to 5,000Pa suction power, distributed across three different power modes to accommodate various cleaning needs. It includes a central roller brush for general cleaning and a smaller side brush designed for cleaning edges and corners efficiently. The device also features a larger 400 ml dustbin and a 270 ml water tank, which are built to require less frequent emptying and refilling.

For navigation, the S20 uses an LDS laser navigation system that helps it map cleaning areas accurately and move in organized zigzag or Y-shaped patterns. This system, along with built-in sensors, allows the vacuum to avoid obstacles and navigate around common household items like furniture and shoes.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 can be controlled through the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app, which lets users manage cleaning settings, schedule sessions, and track the vacuum’s progress remotely. Voice control functionality is also available through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, making it convenient to operate without manual handling.

Despite its advanced features, the Robot Vacuum S20 maintains a compact size of 325 mm wide and includes a 3,200 mAh battery. It automatically returns to its charging dock when it needs to recharge, ensuring it’s always ready for the next cleaning task.

Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the specific launch date or pricing for the Robot Vacuum S20, however, it is expected to be competitively priced similar to its predecessors like the Xiaomi S10 and S10+.

In related news, Xiaomi has also introduced the Smart Rice Cooker in the UK & Eurozone. The Smart Rice Cooker has a 3-liter capacity and can be controlled remotely with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
