On July 9, Realme will announce the Realme GT 6 in China. The phone’s TENAA listing has already revealed a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. Before the launch, Xu Qi, the company’s Vice President and Global Marketing President, shared the camera samples of the GT 6 to reveal what sort of photography experience it will offer.

Realme GT 6 primary camera details

The Realme GT 6 is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 flagship main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS support. According to Xu Qi, the combination of this high-quality lens, advanced algorithms, and OIS allows the camera to capture clear, detailed images even in challenging conditions. Shown in the post are some of the camera samples of the GT 6.

He did not disclose anything about the GT 6’s ultrawide and front-facing cameras. The TENAA certification confirms the inclusion of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens alongside the 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. On the front, the device will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other reports have revealed that the Realme GT features the world’s first BOE S1+ flat screen, which offers natural grayscale transitions, improved touch accuracy, uniform performance in low light, and accurate color reproduction. Additionally, it includes Green Field AI Eye Protection and an innovative active eye fatigue detection function, which intelligently adjusts settings based on the user’s fatigue level for optimal viewing experiences.

Under the hood, the GT 6 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It may ship with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset also supports the new Sky communication system, which comprises support for 5.5G networks and Wi-Fi 7 protocols. Equipped with a metal middle frame, the phone’s body measures 162.02 x 76.07 x 8.43mm and weighs 206.7 grams.
