Sony has announced the ZV-E10 II mirrorless camera and the E PZ OSS II lens. The Sony ZV-E10 II is a refresh of the original ZV-E10 released in 2021. The ZV-E10 was Sony’s first mirrorless camera that was very popular with vloggers.

The 2nd-gen new Sony mirrorless camera has the same 26MP sensor as the Sony FX30 and a6700. It also comes with several improvements over its predecessor, making it faster and in sync with Sony’s compact cine-focused models. The Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens is the upgrade of the standard Sony APS-C kit zoom.
The details of the Sony ZV-E10 II mirrorless camera include a 26MP APS-C Exmor R CMOS sensor (same as the FX30) and supports UHD 4K 60p and FHD 120p video output. It has a 3-inch touchscreen LCD with vertical support and fast hybrid phase detection up to 759 points. The camera has Real-Time Eye AF and tracking, background defocus, focus breathing compensation, and a directional 3-capsule microphone and windscreen. The camera comes with a new BIONZ XR processor that will deliver a faster performance of up to 8 times than its predecessor. The camera is almost at par with Sony’s leading premium APS-C cameras. The autofocus architecture of the camera integrates an AI Processing unit for advanced subject recognition and other excellent features. The ZV-E10 II comes with up to 30% longer battery life and performance than the original model. The camera is suitable for all-day recording, which underscores its impressive capabilities.
The Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II kit zoom has a 24-75mm range that is suitable for several scenarios. It features quick focusing and utilizes the OSS to deliver sharper images. The new lens is lighter than its predecessor and it provides improved image stabilization and focusing while shooting. It is also possible to simultaneously focus and zoom when taking a shot. Sony has not provided any availability and pricing information on the two new products yet.
