Delta, a popular Nintendo game emulator, has introduced key upgrades with its version 1.6 release. The company has been doing pretty well for a while now, building a strong reputation for quality emulation. The primary focus is enhanced iPad compatibility, allowing users to seamlessly switch between iPhone and iPad devices. The update also includes improvements to DS game compatibility, fresh skin and menu options, and a new logo necessitated by legal concerns.

The update, available on both the App Store and AltStorePAL, fulfills a promise made by Delta creator Riley Testut just three months ago. iPad users can now enjoy full-screen gameplay and utilize Stage Manager and Split View for multitasking. However, the developers have warned users about potential DS save state issues, recommending in-game saving before updating and offering a dedicated app, Delta Legacy, to assist with save state migration.
