Xiaomi officially announced today that it will hold the 2024 annual conference at 19:00 on July 19 in China. The company will release a number of new products at the event, which includes the new foldable and Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport.
The Watch S4 Sport is going to be the company’s first professional sports smartwatch. It will reportedly come with a titanium body, sapphire on the front and back along with a new rotating crown. From the appearance and design, it looks like the product can be somewhat comparable to the Apple Watch Ultra in certain aspects.
Certification listings have revealed that the watch comes with a circular OLED screen and boasts a 586mAh battery. It also supports eSIM, so you can use it without a smartphone. Speaking of connectivity and usability, it lets you answer calls, send messages, and open certain app applications directly on the watch. It also supports support GPS, NFC, and heart rate monitoring among other functions.
According to a previous report, the Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport supports 10W charging, a focus on battery life, and comes pre-installed with HyperOS.
Speaking of the regular Watch S4, it is expected to be launched around October with the Xiaomi 15 series. It will also likely come with e-SIM support, which has already been spotted on the IMEI database with a model number M2424W1. launched the Watch S3 towards the end of last year.
