Lenovo recently launched the Legion R9000P 2024 gaming laptop in the Chinese market, now available for its first sale on JD.com. The grey version is priced at 9,299 yuan ($1282), while the white version is available for 9,699 yuan ($1338).

The laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, capable of boosting up to 5.4GHz. For graphics, it comes with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card. It includes 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The Legion R9000P comes with a 16-inch 2.5K display with 2560×1600 resolution, a rapid 240Hz refresh rate, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also features a peak brightness of 500 nits and a 3ms response time, ensuring minimal input lag for competitive gaming. Additionally, the display comes with HDR400 along with G-SYNC, and AMD FreeSync Premium support.
Lenovo has equipped the R9000P with its innovative Frost Blade Pro Cooling System 5.0, designed to handle the intense thermal demands of these high-performance components. The system features a full coverage multi-zone heat transfer system and a 3D blade exhaust fan, ensuring optimal cooling even during the most demanding gaming sessions.
The gaming laptop also excels in connectivity, featuring Wi-Fi 6E, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, an RJ-45 network port, a 3.5mm headset, and a versatile Type-C port that supports up to 140W proprietary charging. Additionally, the Legion R9000P comes equipped with a spacious 80Wh battery, providing ample power for extended gaming sessions.
Lenovo has incorporated several enhancements to elevate the gaming experience, including the Legion ZONE software for customizable controls, a TrueStrike keyboard for precise input, and Nahimic sound effects for immersive audio.
The laptop also includes a camera with an electronic control switch for privacy and comes pre-installed with Windows 11.
