TikTok is expanding its functionality with a new “Sound Search” feature currently in testing. Users will soon be able to identify songs by humming, singing, or playing a snippet of the audio.

The feature goes beyond simple song recognition, potentially allowing users to discover related short video content based on the identified sound. While the feature is currently limited to a small group of users, its wider rollout is anticipated in the future.
It’s worth noting that this new feature is exclusive to the international version of TikTok, as the Chinese version lacks similar functionality at this time.
