Xiaomi‘s Smart Band 9, the successor to the popular Smart Band 8, may be closer to a global launch than previously anticipated. While the device was recently unveiled in China, new developments suggest an expedited international rollout.

An Amazon Italy listing for the Smart Band 9 with an August 19 release date has surfaced, though pricing details remain unverified. This potential early global release differs from Xiaomi’s usual pattern of delayed international launches for its wearable products.

A report from Gadgets & Wearables has claimed that this upcoming wearable will cost €39.99 on Amazon Italy, a slight increase from the €36.99 price tag of its predecessor. As mentioned above, the pricing has not yet been officially revealed. That said, we can pretty much expect the Smart Band 9 global model to come with specs and features identical to those of the Chinese model.
