boAt has launched its first open-ear wearable stereo earphones in India. They are called the boAt Airdopes ProGear. As the name suggests, they have an open-ear design that doesn’t completely block the ear canal. The audio device competes against the likes of the Noise Pure Pods, Bose Ultra Open, and more in the market. Read on to know what the OWS earphone offers out of the box.

As mentioned earlier, the boAt Airdopes ProGear have an open-ear design with a skin-friendly ear hook for a secure fit. This allows the user to stay aware of their surroundings. They are ultra-lightweight and have IPX5 splash and sweat resistance making them ideal for workouts.  

The boAt Airdopes ProGear are equipped with powerful 15mm drivers. There is air conduction technology that is said to deliver rich and detailed sound as well as minimal leakage. The audio device features quad microphones with AI ENx technology for reducing unwanted noise and enhancing clarity on calls. There is a 40ms low latency mode for gaming purposes. 

The boAt Airdopes ProGear supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Insta Wake N’ Pair technology. The OWS earphones come in a square case with a 500mAh cell that is claimed to offer 100 hours of battery life. It has a transparent lid and a USB-C port that is said to provide 10 hours of usage with 10 minutes of charging. The earbuds are backed by a 65mAh unit 

The boAt Airdopes ProGear is priced at Rs 1,999 and comes in Active Black and Sporting Green colors. The OWS earphones can be purchased from the brand’s website, Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores starting today.
