Realme is reportedly working on the Realme G T 7 Pro, its next flagship phone, for the Chinese and global markets. Tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently leaking details about the next-generation flagship. A new Weibo post by the tipster suggests that the company may showcase its 300W fast charging technology at the GT 7 Pro launch event.

Realme’s 300W charging technology set to launch soon

In the above screenshot, DCS is seen talking about a few key features of the GT 7 Pro. He also mentions that Realme may showcase the world’s first 300W fast charging technology. While the GT 7 Pro is the company’s next flagship, it will not have support for 300W fast charging.

In June, Realme Global Head of Marketing, Francis Wong, revealed in an interview that the company is currently testing its 300W rapid charging technology. However, he did not divulge any other information about it. It is said that Realme’s 300W charging tech can go from 0 to 50 percent in less than three minutes and a full charge in under five minutes. It remains to be seen whether the 300W charging technology will be showcased at the GT 7 Pro launch event or through a different event.

The Realme GT 7 Pro will be Realme’s first phone to offer IP69-level dust and water resistance. Also, it will be the company’s first phone to feature a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Previous reports have revealed that the GT 7 Pro will have a flat OLED panel with micro-curvature on all four sides. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered device is expected to ship with up to 24 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity, and 100W charging. For photography, the device may feature a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 120x digital zoom.
