Samsung is gearing up to launch a refreshed version of its popular Galaxy M55. The device, identified as the Galaxy M55s, has been spotted on certification websites, with the Bureau of Indian Standards being the latest one.

The certification confirms that the Samsung Galaxy M55s, identified with SM-M558B/DS model number, will soon be landing in the Indian market. Other than that, the certification does not reveal much. That said, the device was recently spotted on Geekbench, confirming some key details.

As per Geekbench, the Galaxy M55s will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which will be backed by 8GB of RAM and running Android 14.

While details are scarce, it’s likely the M55s will retain key features from its predecessor. To recall, the Galaxy M55 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W charging. For cameras, it includes a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro unit, and a 50MP front-facing selfie camera.

In other news, the Xiaomi 14T has also recently emerged on Geekbench, revealing key details like a Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor and 12GB RAM. On the other hand, the 14T Pro model will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ processor. Both of these models are rumored to feature impressive camera hardware tailor-made for low light performance.
