HONOR is preparing to launch its Magic V3 foldable smartphone globally. Originally released in China, the global variant has now emerged on Geekbench, revealing some key details.

The HONOR Magic V3 global model, identified by the model number FCP-N49, has been spotted on Geekbench listing confirms that it will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 3.30GHz. The device will feature 12GB of RAM and an Adreno 750 GPU. The HONOR Magic V3 will come with Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14.

The smartphone has scored 1914 points in single-core and 5354 points in multi-core tests. The device has also grabbed IMDA and TDRA certifications, which indicate that the brand plans to debut it in Singapore and the UAE. We already know that the brand has plans to launch the device in the European markets as well.

The Honor Magic V3 Chinese model comes with a 6.43-inch main display with curved edges and FHD+ resolution, as well as a 7.92-inch internal display with a resolution of 2,344 x 2,156 pixels. Both screens support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and are compatible with stylus input. The peak brightness reaches 5,000 nits, though it’s uncertain if this applies to both displays. It has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button and features a 7-series aluminum alloy frame. It’s IPX8-certified, offering water resistance up to 2.5 meters.

For photography, the Honor Magic V3 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 40MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom and OIS. It also includes a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls on both the internal and external screens. A Harcourt portrait mode is anticipated in August.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It features a titanium heat dissipation system and is backed by a 5,150mAh battery supporting 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
