Samsung is gearing up to launch the successor of the Galaxy A15 5G smartphone in the coming days. This upcoming device, likely called the Galaxy A16 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-A166E, which is likely the model number of the global model.

Earlier this month, the US model also made an appearance on Geekbench, identified by model number SM-A166P. Similar to the US model, the global model also has a Dimensity 6300 SoC under its hood. The phone has appeared with 4GB RAM and Android 14. We can expect it to also launch with 6GB and 8GB RAM models. It has managed to score 967 points on the single-core test and 1971 points on the multicore test of Geekbench 6.

The phone is rumored to feature a 50 MP primary camera, 5 MP secondary camera, and 2 MP macro camera. On the front, it will likely feature a 13 MP selfie sensor. More details are not available at this point, however, it will likely have a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
