The Anker Prime 250W 6-port Gallium Nitride (GaN) charger has been launched. The new Anker GaN charger is now available in selected markets such as the US and the UK. The model is unveiled as part of Anker’s extensive Prime product lineup.

The Anker Prime Charger (250W, 6 Ports, GaNPrime) has four USB-C ports and two USB-A. The first USB-C port can deliver a power output of 140W. The top USB-C port can charge a MacBook Pro 16 by up to 50% in 25 minutes. It can also fully charge the MacBook Pro 16 in 1.5 hours. The other USB-C ports offer up to 100W power while the USB-A ports deliver up to 22.5W power.
The new Anker Prime GaN charger has a 2.26-inch LCD that shows the charging status and speed. The LCD can also display the time and date. There is a control dial on the side of the charger that allows the user to customize the charging speeds between four modes. The four charging speed modes include AI Power, Low Current, Port Priority, and Dual-Laptop. The AI Power mode offers intelligent adjustments based on the detected power requirements. The Low Current mode is used for overnight charging while the Port Priority mode ensures 100W output for the USB-C1 port. The Dual-Laptop mode delivers 70W power via two USB-C outputs.
