Vivo X200 Pro camera specs by DCS

The above Weibo post by DCS suggests that the Vivo X200 Pro will see significant enhancements in its camera system. The primary camera will feature Sony’s new 50-megapixel sensor, utilising 22nm process technology.

To recall, the Sony IMX989, which was made available on the Vivo X100 Pro, was produced on a 40nm node. Although the new CMOS sensor has a slightly smaller size at 1/1.28-inch, the larger f/1.57 aperture will allow more light to enter, enhancing the overall image quality.

The Vivo X200 Pro’s rear camera setup is also said to have a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, similar to the one used in the Vivo X100 Ultra. This lens will feature a large 1/1.4-inch sensor with an f/2.67 aperture.

While it is not mentioned in the leak, it seems that the camera setup will also have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Additionally, the phone will reportedly incorporate self-developed imaging chips, enhancing both software and hardware to deliver superior photography performance.

According to other reports, the Vivo X200 Pro will house a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a micro-curvature design and ultra-thin bezels. It is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is also tipped to pack a massive 6,000mAh battery.
