45,000 units sold in 72 hours of launch

The company officially announced yesterday that the sales of Nova Flip exceeded 45,000 units in 72 hours after its launch. Notably, this is an 85% increase in sales of the company’s flip phones as compared to the same period last year.

Huawei Nova Flip is reportedly powered by the Kirin 8000 chipset and runs on HarmonyOS 4.2. The international variant of the phone comes with an optional 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage, which is paired with 12GB RAM. This phone packs a 4,400 mAh silicon anode battery and supports 66W Huawei Super Fast Charge Turbo 2.0 fast charging technology, which is advertised to charge the battery to 100% in 40 minutes.

The inner foldable display of the phone is measured at 6.94 inches, which offers a resolution of 1136 x 2690 pixels. This is an LTPO OLED panel which reaches a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The square-shaped outer display is measured at 2,14″ which offers a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

Speaking of cameras, the phone offers a dual-lens setup on the back – a 50 MP main with a sensor size of 1/1.56″ that sits behind an f/1.9 aperture, and an 8 MP 112-degree ultrawide.

The phone measures 15.1mm in thickness when folded and 6.88mm (leather back) when unfolded. Notably, this is thinner than both the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The leather back version weighs 195 grams.
