Nubia’s Red Magic sub-brand has confirmed that it will hold a launch at 3pm (local time) on Sept. 5 in China. The event will see the arrival of the Red Magic gaming-focused tablets.
Upcoming Red Magic gaming tablets: What to expect?

The above teaser suggests that Red Magic will announce two tablets during the upcoming launch event. Tipster WHYLAB claims that the smaller tablet in the teaser houses a 10.8-inch display. It will be the world’s first tablet to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset.
On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is likely to power the larger Red Magic tablet, which will have a 12.4-inch screen. The tablet is likely to offer support for 5G connectivity. It is said to be a successor to the Red Magic Tablet, which went official in July 2023. This model is likely to be dubbed the Red Magic Tablet 3D Explorer Edition. Unfortunately, the rumor mill is yet to leak the other specifications of these tablets.
To recall, the original Red Magic Tablet featured a 12.1-inch LD panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It packed a 10,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
On the front, the Red Magic Tablet was fitted with a 16-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup included a 13-megapixel camera and an LED flash. It came with other features, such as quad speakers and Android 14 with Red Magic UI on top.
