Apple recently confirmed that it will hold a launch event on Sept. 10. The event is expected to see the arrival of the iPhone 16 series and other products. Ahead of the upcoming launch, Apple’s subsidiary, Beats by Dr. Dre introduced today three new audio products in India, marking its arrival in the country.
1. Beats Solo Buds
The Beats Solo Buds are true wireless earphones designed for a powerful listening experience with up to 18 hours of battery life. These earbuds feature seamless one-touch pairing with iOS and Android devices, allowing seamless connectivity. Each earbud is equipped with a custom microphone that, together with an advanced noise-learning algorithm, ensures excellent call quality.
Designed with comfort, the Solo Buds include ergonomic acoustic nozzles and laser-cut vents that enhance audio performance while reducing pressure on your ears. They come with four ear tip sizes to fit a wide range of ear shapes. The dual-layer transducers minimize sound distortions, delivering clear and detailed audio across the frequency spectrum.
2. Beats Solo 4
The Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones offer up to 50 hours of battery life. They feature personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, which provides an immersive sound experience. The built-in microphones, enhanced by a noise-learning algorithm, deliver high-quality call performance and seamless voice-assistant interaction.
The Solo 4 headphones, weighing just 217 grams, feature UltraPlush cushions for comfort and a flex-grip headband for a secure fit. The headphones also support lossless audio via USB-C, and they come equipped with multiple connectivity options, including Class 1 Bluetooth for wireless use, USB-C for charging and audio, and a 3.5mm analog input for high-resolution wired playback.
3. Beats Pill
The Beats Pill is a portable Bluetooth speaker that is 10% lighter than its predecessor and comes with a removable carry lanyard and a soft-grip silicone backing. It offers up to 24 hours of battery life and features IP67 dust and water resistance, making it durable enough for outdoor use.
A re-engineered racetrack woofer and radial ribbing have upgraded the Pill’s acoustic architecture to produce more powerful, room-filling sound. The design includes a 20-degree upward tilt to improve sound projection. The speaker also functions as a speakerphone, with clear voice pickup for calls and voice assistant activation. The Beats Pill is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and features one-touch pairing, along with the ability to sync two speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
4. Beats Solo Buds, Solo 4, Pill price in India, availability
The Beats Solo Buds cost Rs 6,900 (~$82) and can be purchased in four colors: Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and Transparent Red. Priced at Rs 22,990 (~$272), the Solo 4 headphones can be purchased in shades, such as Matte Black, Slate Blue, and Cloud Pink. The Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker comes in Matte Black, Statement Red, and Champagne Gold color options. It can be purchased for Rs 16,900 (~$201).
All three products—the Beats Solo Buds, Beats Solo 4 headphones, and Beats Pill—are available for pre-orders starting today, Aug. 28, at apple.com/in, and will be in Apple Store locations starting Sept. 4.
