In search of a laptop stand recently, I bought a random one from Amazon, and the experience wasn’t good enough. Frustrated by this experience, I started researching the best sturdy laptop stands out there, and that’s when I came across the Alogic Elite Power Laptop Stand with Wireless Charger.

1. Design and Build Quality
Let’s start by talking design and build of the stand, as that’s the most important factor you need to consider while purchasing a laptop stand.
The Alogic Elite Power laptop stand has a square base with an arm that holds your laptop. The entire stand is made out of aluminum and has anti-slip silicone padding on the bottom-facing side of the base, for grip once you place your laptop on it.
Also, the movable arm is height adjustable up to 30 centimeters, so that you can adjust the height of how you see the laptop according to your preference. Well, this is not a unique feature by any stretch, but what’s unique is how you adjust the height.
The height-adjustable arm is locked in place using an Allen bolt, and an Allen wrench is provided in the package when you buy the stand.

With the Allen bolt, the stand doesn’t wobble at all when you place the laptop and that’s confidence-inspiring.

A unique feature of this laptop stand is the built-in Qi wireless charger with a maximum charging capacity of up to 10W for Android devices and up to 7.5W for Apple iPhones.
There’s a USB Type-C port on the rear side of the stand base, which can be connected to a power source to use the wireless charger. Even though a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable is provided in the retail packaging, there’s no adapter in the box.
The wireless charger even comes with a foreign-object detection safety feature, wherein if you place any foreign object on the charging pad, it will detect and produce an alert, thus avoiding damage to the charging pad and preventing issues such as overheating.
