As expected the Infinix Hot 50 5G has launched in India today. It arrives as the successor to the last year’s Hot 40. The latest offering packs significant upgrades over its predecessor including a high refresh rate display, a Dimensity processor, and more. It also carries a budget price tag. The Infinx Hot 50 5G features a large 6.7-inch screen with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout that shows notifications like incoming calls, battery status and is called Dynamic Bar. The device offers an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate along with 500 nits peak brightness. Design-wise, the smartphone has a pill-shaped camera island and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. 

On the optics front, the Infinix Hot 50 5G comes with a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor and a depth lens. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone packs features like AI cam, portrait, super night, slow motion, timelapse, and more. 

Internally, the Infinix Hot 50 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It is coupled with 4GB RAM along with 4GB virtual RAM and 128GB native storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion and needs. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, it ships with XOS 14 based on Android 14. 

The Infinix Hot 50 5G starts at Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant whereas the 8GB + 128GB option costs Rs 10,999. It comes in Sleek Black, Sage Green, Vibrant Blue, and Dreamy Purple colors. The smartphone can be purchased from Flipkart starting September 9.
