Rumors suggest that iQOO will announce the iQOO 13 in November this year in China. By doing so, it will be one of the first phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset to hit the Chinese market. It is speculated that the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, expected to debut before the end of October, will be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phones in the world. Unlike the camera-focused Xiaomi 15 series, the iQOO 13 will be a performance-driven flagship phone. A new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station reveals important information about the display of the iQOO 13. Here is a look at what to expect from the phone’s screen.

iQOO 13 to feature a custom-made flat BOE screen

China-based BOE recently held the Global Innovation Partner Conference 2024 event to unveil its next flagship display. According to the tipster, most of the first batch of phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will feature BOE displays.

Reports have revealed that the displays of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will support 1.5K and 2K resolution. Both phones are expected to feature micro-quad-curved displays. On the other hand, the iQOO 13 will have a custom-made flat display from BOE

A recent report claimed that the OnePlus 13 will feature the BOE X2 micro-quad-curved display. DCS explained that the BOE X is a customized line of displays specially designed for Ouga group of companies, such as OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme. Hence, the BOE display for the iQOO 13 will not have the “X” branding.

The iQOO 13’s flat BOE display is reportedly capable of supporting a 2K resolution and is constructed using advanced light-emitting materials. According to testers, it represents next-generation technology and is considered the best BOE display of the year.
