HMD Global has introduced the HMD 105 4G and HMD 110 4G feature phones in India, following the earlier launch of their 2G counterparts in June. These devices aim to provide modern features, such as access to YouTube, YouTube Music, and YouTube Shorts via the Cloud Phone App, offering users entertainment and information on the go.

The phones come preloaded with an app for secure UPI transactions and feature a robust design for easy handling. Key specifications include a 1450mAh battery, MP3 player, wireless FM radio, 32GB SD card support, and the Phone Talker app. The devices also support 23 languages and offer 13 input languages, catering to a wide user base.
Pricing and availability
The HMD 105 4G is available in Black, Cyan, and Pink for Rs. 2,199, while the HMD 110 4G comes in Titanium and Blue, priced at Rs. 2,399. Both phones will be sold through retail outlets, e-commerce platforms, and the official HMD website. A 1-year replacement guarantee is included with both models.
In other news, Reliance Jio has launched the JioPhone Prima 2, a budget-friendly 4G feature phone, succeeding the 2023 JioPhone Prima 4G. The Prima 2 features a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display, a Qualcomm SoC, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage (expandable to 128GB), and runs on KaiOS 2.5.3, offering apps like YouTube, Facebook, and Jio’s own suite. The phone supports 23 Indian languages, JioPay for UPI payments, and has a durable design with a leather-like back finish.
