Earlier in May this year, Sonos launched its first-ever headphones called Sonos Ace in the global markets. Now the brand has brought the audio device to India. The Sonos Ace packs flagship specifications at a premium price tag. This makes the device go up against the likes of similar offerings such as the AirPods Max, Bose QuietComfort, Sony, and more.
Sonos Ace arrives in India
The Indian variant of the Sonos Ace has the same specifications as its global counterpart. The headphones have an over-the-ear design with large earcups, and memory foam padding. They are lightweight ensuring a comfortable fit for prolonged usage. The ear cushions can be easily replaced. There are tactile buttons and the ear cups can be folded for easy storage in the bundled case.
In terms of audio, the Sonos Ace is equipped with custom 40mm drivers for a rich and powerful sound quality. There is an active noise cancellation for eliminating any surrounding noise. Meanwhile, the aware mode lets you stay aware of the surroundings when needed. The headphones also feature Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos with head tracking for an immersive listening expeirence. The Sonos Ace comes with Lossless Audio that delivers original sound quality without any compression.
The Sonos Ace packs eight total microphones along with beamforming technology for a clear quality on calls. Other features include a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint connection, wear detection, and more. The headphones are touted to offer 30 hours of battery life and support fast charging.
