Xiaomi quietly released the Redmi Smart Fire TV in India back in June. Now, the higher end Smart Fire TV 4K is launching in the region soon. These new smart TVs will offer UHD resolution and arrive in two size options. So let’s check it out.
Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K India Launch Date
The Chinese tech giant has confirmed that the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K will be dropping in India on 16th September 2024. It will be available in two screen variants, which include a 55-inch and 43-inch option. So in total, the Redmi Smart Fire TV lineup will soon have three versions. Redmi also shared more details regarding the upcoming smart TVs on their official website. The new Smart Fire TV 4K will launch with a premium metal design with ultra thin bezels around the display.
These new models will support MEMC with Reality Flow. The Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K lineup supports Fire TV OS 7 with over 12,000 apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and others. Based on what we know so far, Xiaomi will likely pack Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, DTS: Virtual X technology, AirPlay, and more. Xiaomi has already started getting ready for the upcoming festive season in India, so we can expect more details to be revealed by next week.
To recall, the Smart Fire TV 32 2024 Edition launched with a 1366 x 768 resolution, 6.5m response time, and Vivid Picture Engine. The TV features premium metal design and houses twin 10W speakers for a total output of 20W. Under the hood, the smart TVs are equipped with a quad-core processor comprising of four A35 cores and a Mali G31 MP2 GPU. This processor is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
