Vivo is working on the next line: the Vivo V50 series. The Chinese smartphone company is already testing two models, the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50e. This information was discovered not long after the Vivo V40e was introduced on September 25. By checking the IMEI database, Smartprix saw two different Vivo V50 models listed. It’s possible that Vivo is testing more models behind the scenes, but right now, the website can only confirm the existence of these two.
Vivo V50 Series Coming Soon
The Vivo V40 was very similar to the previous Vivo V30. Now, with the Vivo V50 spotted in testing, what should we expect from this new series? The Vivo V50 will probably have features similar to the Vivo V40, though there is no official word yet on the full specifications.
At the moment, Smartprix can confirm is that network tests are being conducted to make sure the phones work smoothly. This means Vivo is actively working on the devices to ensure they offer the best possible experience to their users.
The IMEI database lists the Vivo V50 under model number V2427 and the Vivo V50e under model number V2428. Looking back, the Vivo V40e got big improvements in its processor and fast charging compared to the Vivo V30e.
We don’t know the exact details for the Vivo V50e yet, but it could come with better camera sensors, faster charging, and a more powerful processor than the V40e.
Possible Release Dates
As of now, there is no official release date for the Vivo V50 series. However, if we look at the past launches, the outlet can make some guesses. The Vivo V30 was announced in February 2024, and the Vivo V40 was launched in June 2024. So, the Vivo V50 could be released around February 2025, likely in the first quarter.
For the Vivo V50e, previous models like the Vivo V30e were released in May 2024, and the Vivo V40e came out in September 2024. This pattern shows a gap of about four months between each “e” model. If that trend continues, they could expect the Vivo V50e to be launched around January 2025.
However, keep in mind that this is just speculation based on past releases, and the dates could change depending on Vivo’s plans. We will share more updates as soon as new information becomes available.
