Oppo is set to launch the Find X8 series devices this month. However, that’s not the only new product lineup the company will launch this month. The mid-range Oppo K12 Plus will be launched on October 12, positioned as a device that focuses on battery life and performance.
The Oppo K12 was launched in April this year with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. The upcoming phone has already appeared on Geekbench with a single and multi-core score of 744 and 2573 respectively.

The phone packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the front and a 6400 mAh battery inside, which supports 80W fast charging. However, despite packing a massive battery, the phone maintains a sleek form factor, measuring 162.47×75.33×8.37mm and weighing only 193 grams.
While the company hasn’t revealed much about the phone yet, it was previously rumored to equip the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, the same chip that is used by the standard model. However, the moniker suggests that there could be a performance improvement, which can be achieved with better thermal management and a different software tuning. Nonetheless, nothing is concrete about it, and readers should take it with a pinch of salt.

Speaking of cameras, the K12 packs a 50MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the back, paired with a 16MP selfie shooter.
When it comes to powering up the device, it supports 100W wired fast charging, so users can expect a similar (if not faster) charging speed with the Plus model.
