Vivo has officially launched the new Y300 Plus in India, bringing a premium experience at an affordable price. The brand’s latest model stands out thanks to its tall curved AMOLED display, which isn’t too common in the mid range segment. This launch arrives over a month after the Vivo Y300 Pro release, so here’s everything you need to know.
Vivo Y300 Plus: Specifications
The key selling point of the Vivo Y300 Plus is undoubtedly its display. For a mid range price, you’re getting a tall 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. Such screens usually ship with premium mid range or flagship smartphones. Under the hood, the Vivo Y300 Plus is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with the Adreno 619 GPU.

This is an ageing chip that clearly shows one area where the brand is cutting costs. It also features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The Vivo Y300 Plus runs on the Android 14 OS based FuntouchOS 14 custom skin out of the box. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 44W wired fast charging.
On the rear, the Vivo Y300 Plus packs a dual-camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera that has an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.Other notable features include dual-SIM support, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual band Wi-Fi, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Vivo y300 Plus was announced in two color options, namely Silk Black and Silk Green. It has a 23,999 INR price tag for its lone storage configuration. Vivo is even offering an instant 1,000 INR discount to HDFC, SBI, and ICICI bank card holders. There is also a no cost EMI option as well.
