Honor has just unveiled a brand new tablet in its home market of China. The Honor Pad GT Pro was released with a massive battery, an IMAX enhanced display for a better movie experience, and powerful hardware. All of this is being offered for a budget price, so here’s everything you need to know.

Honor Pad GT Pro: What makes it special?

Thanks to their taller screens, tablets are often a better mobile device to view your favorite movies and videos. But the Honor Pad GT Pro takes things a step further with a 12.3-inch IMAX enhanced OLED display. This is similar to the brand’s older MagicPad 13, which also had the IMAX certification. Honor Pad GT Pro’s screen offers a 3000 x 1920 pixel resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 10.7 billion colors, 290 PPI pixel density, and 1600 nits of peak brightness.

A massive 10,050mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 66W wired fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The Pad GT Pro houses a 40,000mm² thermal dissipation system to keep these beefy specs cooled. Other notable features include eight speakers with spatial audio support. Honor’s new gaming tablet runs on the Android 14 OS based MagicOS 8 custom skin out of the box.
